Ruidoso Home Care and Hospice Foundation

The Foundation has several fundraisers each year.

A live butterfly release.

Please join Ruidoso Home Care & Hospice Foundation for the Fourth Annual LIVE Butterfly Release on Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 1 - 3 PM at the Pavilion at White Mountain Meadows just off Gavilan Canyon Road.

By releasing a LIVE butterfly, you can honor someone’s memory, or make a wish.

According to Native American Legend~

"To make a wish come true, whisper it to a butterfly.
Upon their wings it will be taken to heaven and granted, for they are the messengers of the Great Spirit."

The sight of butterflies released en masse will captivate you and create a lasting memory.  Gerald Sinclair will accompany the Release by performing beautiful flute music.  To ensure their safety, all unclaimed butterflies will be released by 2:30 pm.

Butterflies will be distributed beginning at 1:00 pm on the day of the Release.  If quantities last, you may purchase your butterfly at the Event for $15.

Butterflies are $10 each if purchased in advance.  So save $5 and reserve your butterfly early.    Quantities are limited—call 258-0028

This mass Butterfly Release is a Fundraiser event for Ruidoso Home Care & Hospice Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists Lincoln County residents.  92% of ALL donations are returned to our community.

Please show your support for this wonderful organization by participating in this memorable event.   For more information call Nancy at 258-0028
