Philosophy of Ruidoso Home CareRuidoso Home Care (RHC) subscribes
to the concept of health as defined by the World Health Organization as “A
state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the
absence of disease of infirmity. The
enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health is one of the fundamental
rights of every human being without distinction of race, religion, sex, disability,
political belief, economic, or social condition.” RHC upholds that each individual
has rights and needs that should be recognized and met in ways that are
appropriate to the individual and his/her situation. RHC is committed to cooperative
efforts within the community as well as with other health care providers. RHC respects the rights of the
patient and family to make choices and decisions affecting their present and
future health status. RHC affirms the value of life in
all of its phases. The admission
criteria will serve as the basis for accepting patients. |
